I'm getting too old for this....

It's been a few weeks! Bryan's marathon was great. He finished 13.1 miles in 2hrs and 6min. For me that would be 2 days and 6hrs. There were so many people there. Thousands of in shape people. As I stood on the sidewalk and drank my coffee. After playing volleyball for so many years I was finally on the other side of life. The soft, flubberish muscle side. And i'm okay with that! Hold on I want a twix...

As for the new job it is swell. Everyone is nice, and I stay pretty busy which makes time go by faster. I'm not use to part-time work. It's nice just going in 3 or 4 days a week. But, do not get me wrong. I'd much rather be back at the modeling agency behind a desk where it's okay to judge everyone that walks through the door. Not because I am vain. Because that was my job. And I was good at it! ha! Plus, I never knew my joints could hurt at 21 until I started climbing ladders and building chairs at this place! Maybe i'm getting too old for this manual labor. HAHAHA! I wish.

With the wonderful part time hours Mya "my shih-poo" has became me new best friend. It's to the point to where if I'm on my laptop and i'm not petting her she will softly put her paw on my hand, which in return makes me pet her. It is pretty aggrivating, but so darn cute! Although, the other day mom and I were talking and lost track of her. We searched the house, took a peek out the window and she was all the way to the mailbox. For an inside dog that only goes outside to poop while on a leash, this made mom's heart stop. She ran outside faster than a jackrabbit! Mya just pranced on in, and of course. Mom gave her a treat. The fuzzy dog always wins. Remember that.

Wedding plans have changed (yes, again.) Don't give me that look. This time I am 100% happy with our decision to have a beach wedding and a cruise honeymoon. It just seems right. I want my family there as well as Bryans. This way we can make it worth everyones drive and fly. It's the flippin beach! Could not get any better.

My Gran gave me a cd collection titled "Before saying I DO." It is a sermon about everything you need to hear when decided to get married. He covers why to get married, wrong reasons, recognizing the differences, the first 5 years, and planning for the future. I listened to the first cd without Bryan just to see how it was. And I loved how he said there is no perfect person for you to have. But, God does have a perfect person for you to grow with, which includes learning good communication skills. Do not yell, do not shake your head, or walk out. Listen to him, and in return he will listen to you. (Or you can just throw a hairdryer at him.) haha! And THAT ladies and gentlemen could solve a lot of peoples problems! Booyah.

You're hired

Over a month of searching. And I finally found one. A J-O-B! I just finished an interview at Pier 1 Imports that went very well. All I did was flash a million dollar smile and we were making plans to come in and sign papers.
Now the search begins for Bryan and I to find a nest. July is creeping up on us, so we really need to buckle down. To rent or not to rent? We will have to answer that soon.
Talked to the representative for Carnival Cruise lines and our travel agent today. We are on hold to set sail on July 10th in route to Half Moon Cay (Bahamas), St. Thomas, San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Grand Turk. I am so excited to have an onboard wedding. I think this is a perfect decision. Bryan and I are beach bums at heart.
The reception is slowly coming into the works. Mom and I have agreed on a theme (a day on the beach.) I have some good ideas that i'm excited about, and mom is decorating the whole thing in her head.
Bryan is just sitting back and letting us do everything, probably a smart choice, unless you want to travel into the lion pit.
This weekend Bryan has a marathon in Little Rock (13 miles.) Just thinking about 1 mile makes my legs hurt. I can't wait to make a big sign and cheer him on.

New beginnings...

Never in my wildest dreams would I figure myself a blogger. But alas, here we are! After two years of college I decided to take a break and move to Tulsa, OK. Tulsa is where I started modeling, and worked for my agent. Soon after I went to NYC to the world of SUPERmodels. I love food too much for that.

Now, I am back in Arkansas, and ready to finish my schooling. I honestly have no idea what to expect in the next 5 years.... or 6 months none the less. I can't complain. I have a beautiful ring on my finger from an intelligent, caring, hunky, goofy, amazing man that I am ready to spend the rest of my life with.
